First Impression:Morphe 35k Palette

Hello Loves!

So I just recently recieved my morphe order and one of the palettes I bought was the Morphe 35k Palette. Let me just start by saying how much I love this palette. This palette is perfect for any cool toned smokey eye. (Which is part of the reason I love it so much!) With 35 different colors in the palette, a look can be created for any skin tone or eye color. The colors range anywhere from cool/medium toned browns to any possible shade of grey. The shadows are creamy and easily blendable.  This particular palette has decient pigmentation depending on if a shimmer or matte shade is used. The reason I say this is because it has a good color pay off but it is not a great one. (I have used worse.) I have found the shimmer shades give the beat color pay off when it is applied wet. If you are hunting for an amazing palette that can be used for almost any season, this is the one for you. I hope this review was helpful.

Review: Kat Von D Shade n Light Contour Palette

Hey Loves!

I had to change the intro since I was getting a little bored with the typical “hey everyone” in all of my posts. I hope everyone’s summer has had a great start. Mine has not been so fabulous since there has been nothing but rain for the past few weeks. 😦 I want to apologize for the lack of posts since the end of school has been just a little insane, but since summer is now here, I have all the time in the world to share my tutorials, tips and tricks, and impressions on new beauty products when I am able to get my hands on a new product!

Today’s post is going to be a review on a product that has become a daily life saver for my slight obsession with contouring. Now that summer is here, it is time to go super bronze glow and a strong contour/highlight! If you are looking for a product that is capable of doing all of this in one palette, the shade n light palette is the palette for you. I am in LOVE with this product since it is so versatile and can be worn by anyone in any type of look. It is super pigmented so a little, really does go a long long way! The pigment applies smoothly and doesn’t allow your concealer to crease at all.

Now that I have all of the general greatness explained, I’m ready to get into the juicy details about the amazing contour colors in the palette! Let me start by saying that I am in love with these three shades! They are dark, pigmented, and very easy to blend (assuming you start with a little and build up, because otherwise they are a beast to blend.) The pigment in the colors are very neutral but also have enough tint to be used as a contour shade and a bronzer. This makes it the perfect product for any needs.

The highlights found in the palette come in the same three shades as any other highlight palettes but they hold their own type of sheen. Not like a shimmer but they are much lighter than any other product which is a good thing since it is used to brighten up the under eye and the center of the face.

Combine a top highlight and a bottom contour shade and you can transform into what ever you want to be. If you are hunting for a contour kit this is the one for you! I hope this review was helpful and I have a Summer Look Coming Soon!!!

First Impression: Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer

TooFacedChocolateSoleilLightMedium

Hey Everyone! Hope your day has been going well. So just the other day I grabbed a Too Faced bronzer and I am so in LOVE. This bronzer is now my life. There is nothing in the world that I can say bad about this product. And boy does it smell great. When Too Faced said their chocolate line would smell good, they didn’t lie. This product is super pigmented and just blends flawlessly. They do come in different shades and I ended up getting the lighter one so i can have a nice soft contour. But this bronzer is now my current favorite. If you happen to be hunting for a bronzer to contour with, I would highly recommend this one!

Loreal Infallible Foundation

$_35review1

Hey Everyone! So somewhat of recently, -well not really recent…I am a little late on this review Sorry:(- I had picked up the Loreal Infallible Foundation because I have heard a lot of good reviews on it and thought I would try it out and write my own review on it. So after some time of trying this foundation out, it has become my one and only. This baby is like my Holy Grail Foundation. It is completely full coverage but fells light on the skin making it great for the summertime! The only thing I didn’t really like about it was how fast it set. It does HAVE to be blended really well because it does have the potential to be very patchy on the skin but it does dry very matte which is great in the summer time if you live somewhere Super Hot (cough cough Texas). This foundation is good because it doesn’t budge through out the day nor does it really come off. I usually only have to blot where I get oily once or twice depending on how long I have to wear the makeup. If you are looking for something that is long lasting this is the foundation for you. Hope this was helpful.

– Also I will be going out of town next week and I won’t have access to my camera, so I am going to apologize in advance for the lack of videos being posted within the next couple of weeks but I will have Impressions posted still on this blog.

Prom Makeup Tutorial

Hey Everyone! So I know Prom is coming up and most people are on a budget; I decided to create a affordable Prom look using mainly drugstore products. The smokey eye I’ve created is not only good for going out at night or to a dance, it can also be worn out during the day with a few minor tweaks so it isn’t so extreme! I know this is a little late but I had promised this tutorial in my Haul Video. So if you are still waiting for your prom, I hope this video is helpful. Please let me know if you all have any video suggestions because I am totally at a creative block right now. If you are going to prom, I hope your night is special.
